Application-level encryption for highly sensitive documents isn’t built yet. Until it is, please do not upload passports, other identity documents, birth certificates, or medical, legal, insurance or banking records — including account numbers or other financial details. Use test or non-sensitive files instead (for example, a school note, a warranty, or a household reminder).
Every family’s data is isolated using Postgres Row Level Security — no other family or tester can query, view, or download your family’s records. Uploaded photos and documents are stored in private cloud storage and are only ever served through short-lived, authenticated signed links, never a public URL.
Because this is a private test, data you add may be cleared or reset before any public launch. Please don’t rely on this environment to store anything you can’t afford to lose.
